Diagnostics & X-Rays

In every country where CURE works, we aim to ensure that every child with a treatable disability can reach their full potential through God’s hope and healing.

Once children are admitted to a CURE hospital, the medical team takes their vital signs, preparing each child for their upcoming surgery. Surgical patients often need lab tests before or after their surgeries.

Once they arrive and are checked in, children are admitted to the ward where the medical team takes their vital signs in preparation for their upcoming surgery. CURE hospitals are equipped to perform diagnostic tests like X-rays, ultrasounds, and blood work to ensure the health of each patient before, during, and after surgery. If a child’s blood counts are too low, doctors can administer vitamins and supplements to prepare little bodies for surgery.

What are the outcomes of successful diagnostics testing?

Better surgical outcomes are achieved when the child is medically prepared before any surgical intervention.

Regular check-ups help doctors monitor the child’s healing.
